It’s officially a Monday and it sucks donkey balls 100%

So yesterday when I went out to shovel I started the cars so that they would warm up. While they were idling and I was shoveling in the hurricane winds the van died and I didn’t hear it and thus the battery died.

This morning I jumped it twice with Laura’s car. The last time I took it out for a quick spin. Laura obviously wanted to leave so I couldn’t go as far as I wanted to. I thought about having her take the kids to school but I didn’t even want to suggest it because of the look I knew I’d get for even thinking it.

I turned the van off and on a couple of times and then turned it off so that it wouldn’t idle to death again. Got the kids all packed up and went to start the van and NOTHING. It’s dead again.

So we are stuck at home again today. I’ve got cabin fever big time and was hoping to get outside and shovel a bunch today but that’s not going to happen with the kids. If I’m inside they can chill in front of the TV for hours if I let them. But, the second I go outside they suddenly have ever “emergency” under the sun so I never get shit done.

This fucking sucks and I know I’m more pissed then I should but it still sucks. Getting the kids to day care would have been good for them since it’s way to cold outside for them to play.I still think I’m going to take them out later and run around and freeze for a little while. We are all going to need it even if it’s only for 5 minutes.

This sucks…..totally sucks….
