Today is my last day in the current job. I’ve been so swamped with problems over the last week and a half that I haven’t had a chance to really think much about the new position. But, yesterday I sure did get thinking about it when the gang took me out to lunch.

They are having a little send off breakfast this morning for me which is nice. I still think everyone is trying to not say that I’m leaving because of any problems since i’m still staying at the same place but in a different role. Whatever, I’ve told my managers point blank that I was leaving to go to a new job and it just happened to be that my dream one opened up right there. But, they don’t listen.

So today ends one chapter and Monday starts a new one. I can’t wait!
