The world has lost one of the last true originals.

Hunter S. Thompson decided it was time to leave this earth. After all he has been through I can’t imagine what would drive him to this.

I’ve been wanting to read more of his stuff for years, but have never gotten around to it. The last piece of his I read was a reaction to th e elections in Rolling Stone which had me smiling for days.

Not many on earth like him. Not many where ever we go when we die like him either I’m sure.

A sad day…
