Currently chilling at the Holy Cross Campus Center. I’m attending a little conference thing here today. I’m actually sitting on a discussion panel this afternoon. Always interesting to check out other schools. I was VERY happy to walk in here and discover that it’s wireless and wide open. Made my morning.

So what is going on in my world? A LOT of quiet is what is going on unfortunitely. There are many balls that I’m juggling but they just seem to be flying through the air and not getting anywhere right now and that’s frustrating as hell to me. I want things to move. I want progress. I want to work my ass off and deliver results. I want that all, but when other people are in charge I can’t always do that. Hmmm…perhaps I was meant to be a small business owner on my own? *grin*

The family is great. Everything really is good in my world. I can’t complain. It’s just that I constantly crave progress and momentum forward and when I can’t get it, I get itchy. Has always happened.

Big news around the house is Dylan tied his shoes on his own!!! Small thing, but cool just the same. And FINALLY the dipshits at his school are going to do a speech assessment next week. About time because the teacher requested it in August!!! God damn red tape!! Kids don’t get left behind, they get forgotten about.

I guess I’ll surf a bit before this whole conference starts and I get bored. Have a good one.
