Dylan had his first t-ball practice last night. As the kids are lining up me and the other coaches notice we are one off on the count. It was easy to figure out who was missing because it was the only girl on the team. She was no where to be found. Then I saw her signature ponytail bouncing away across the park with her mom. We have no idea why they left. We were just getting started. We just sort of looked at each other and shrugged. We’ll have to ask next time what happened.

I’ve got to get my groove back at work. These last two days have not been good for the soul. A bit bleak, but it’ll all pass over. I have no worries about that.

A nice quiet weekend ahead. I’m determined to get outside and get re-energized. It’s needed.
