Summer is almost here. I’m starting to feel it. With commencement this weekend at work and softball e-mails flying that means it’s almost summer time.

Laura is on a flight to NYC and back today. Headed to a hospital to check out some X-Ray equipment. No matter how much either of us flies everytime I get worried. Has nothing to do with 9-11. The fear was there before that. Blargh. Doesn’t make the tummy feel good.

Got a new gadget yesterday that has me absolutely amazed. An iRiver IFP-899. It’s so that I can do mobile podcasts. Main reason is that I’ll be able to plug into a mixing board at a concert or plug a mic in and do interviews with the bands. I can’t believe the power in this little tiny thing. And it weighs NOTHING.

I got to Best Buy and there was a woman buying a lower end model of one of these and I got worried because there was only one of these left so I hoped she wouldn’t buy it. That would have sucked.

Soooo…..new gadget + awesome podcast = Happy C.C.
