Discovering this page made me smile. Especially since as soon as it loaded my buddy Dan’s voice just fires up and the little quick promo we made always makes me laugh.

This morning I was chilling with the globe and my coffee and Laura came strolling out in VERY cute PJ’s and asks, “Do you want some accident hash or just some eggs or something?” The moment made me giggle because suddenly this little breakfast/lunch/whenever meal has suddenly so much of a different meaning to me now.

You’ve got to understand that I originally registered AccidentHash.com because I was going to do a more professional angled blog and wanted a cool URL for it. On a long drive back from NH after having it for dinner with my Dad I thought it would be the perfect URL. But, as I searched the net for good photographs drug related angles kept coming back at me so that wasn’t the way to go. Instead I registered AwayFromTheTree.com which is a reference to something a designer once said to me. I kept a professional blog there for a while, but it never went where I wanted it to.

So when I thought about doing a music podcast I looked at the URL’s I had laying around and figure I’d use the hash one. Why not? No one else was going to have a name like that and plus I didn’t want to register a new one because I wasn’t sure how long I’d be doing it.

Little did I know that a few months later I’d be on the verge of what I am today. Apple is going to have podcasting built right into iTunes. I own a production company called Accident Hash Productions. It’s a mind fuck everytime I think about it.

I just can’t wait to get my t-shirts made and give one to my dad. He’s the only one who will appreciate the humor in all of this as much as I do. We think a like so I know we will both grin!
