I’m already getting a minor case of the miss-youz. It’s weird. I usually don’t get them at all, but putting the kids to bed tonight I started dreading doing the same thing tomorrow night. I will be gone when they wake up Sunday morning. Leaving at 4 am to catch a flight. YUCK! But, chilling on the plane and arriving in San Fran will cheer me up for sure.

Looks like I’m going to be going to the San Francisco Podcaster Meetup while I’m out there. Not sure if I’m going to present at it or just go. Either way is cool with me. It’ll be cool to meet podcasters from the West Coast. Can’t wait.

Started something tonight that I haven’t done in a while and that is a hand written journal. I needed another outlet where I could just brain dump without worrying about my words biting me in the ass or who was reading. Don’t worry, I’m not going to stop this, it’s just that I needed another outlet as well and writing it out long hand felt good. It’s much slower then how I type and it forces me to think a bit about the words and brain dribble at the same time. It’s interesting for sure.

Today at work we played in the Championship softball game. We were the BIG TIME underdogs going in and we won 19-13. It felt so good to beat the other team that we didn’t think we had a chance of beating. They took it way more serious then we did so it only made the victory sweeter. Everyone thanked me for being a good coach and making it fun again. I guess in the past it wasn’t so much fun to play on the team and I’m all about fun even if we get our asses kicked!

Started shopping for a truck. When I say shopping I mean I requested some brochures. Not sure when we’ll be buying one. Seems to be lots of things on our shopping list lately. Just need the $$$ to move anything off the list first. *grin*
