Sleepy Sunday
It’s been a great weekend so far. Most of yesterday was spent out in the yard getting rid of the leaves. I had to buy a new toy and got one of those leaf blower/vacuums. Works really well mulching up all the leaves so I don’t have to make as many trips to the dump. Highlight was pulling in and there was nothing but trucks there. Dylan piped up saying, “Daddy, you need a truck.” How right he is.
Emily is having fun with “The Beaver” which is what you get in my department at work instead of the typical employee of the month. The beaver even has a journal to document his/her travels. It’s fun and the kids are getting a kick out of it.
Tonight L&P are coming over. I had totally forgot about that until a couple of minutes ago. I guess I can’t be the total slug I wanted to be today. It also means we need to clean up a bit in here.
I feel good that last night I put out a new U-Turn Café. It was long over due and Cass really wanted and needed one so I had to do it.
The other fun thing I get to do this weekend is put together a special holiday show I’m doing for Friday on Sirius. Oh and I’ve got to pick some tunes for a little pseudo skunk works project that I’ve got going on. I’m sure there is more on my to do list. There always is.
