It’s the day before X-Mas and it’s almost 50 degrees out. Feels very strange here in New England.

I was up late last night recording my holiday podcast which will go out in a few hours, but it was nice and relaxing. Of course I did it long after everyone went to bed so the house had the right vibe going on in it.

Trying to figure out what to make for dinner tonight. Part of me wants to make a big old dinner, but Laura wants a chilled dinner. So I’m trying to figure out a happy medium. I’ll figure something out and go shopping a little later. I’m just really in the mood to cook. I haven’t done it in a while and I’ve got the itch.

Dylan is cleaning his room. Both kids need to do it and he was psyched to. Yeah, he doesn’t know any better yet. Of course the whole house needs a cleaning. My desk seems to get cluttered as soon as it gets cleaned. Having the mixer and the mic at least forces it a bit to stay clean, but it’s never enough.

Can’t wait till tomorrow morning. Always a magical moment to see the kids faces when they get to the bottom of the stairs.
