All of suddent today Laura got that look. It’s the look that scares me because the gears are turning and ya just never know what she is going to say.

The next thing I know she is turning her desk in the office to face the window and we’ve moved the DVD case into the little alcove in the office. This all happened when we took down the tree and were figuring out if we were going to build shelves in the alcove or not.

I just sort of rolled with it and then she said it.

She looked at the DVD case and said, “the TV isn’t going to fit on that. We’re going to have to get a flatscreen.”

How could I argue with that. Now, this is our office. It’s not the living room where we usually watch TV. But, I have a feeling now that might change.

Didn’t go insane or anything like that, but I’m still happy. Ended up with a 26″ JVC. It’s got all the bells and whistles and all that jazz. Really liked it because it had a big base which was important for where this was going. The Samsung was sweet, but damn was it tippy.

Needless to say I’ll be watching football in my big comfy leather chair and breaking in the TV tomorrow.
