Lazy Day

Me and the kids decided that today was going to be an official lazy day. That meant we kept the PJ’s on and did nothing productive all day.

Laura was working so the kids played, watch some DVDs they got for X-Mas and Daddy kept himself firmly planted in his chair breaking in the new TV with football. Best part was watching Miami win. Sucked that there was nothing riding on the game, but it was still fun to watch.

My Little GoofballThen tonight we tried out the new ice cream maker attachment for my blender. It worked awesome and damn is it a lot easier then the old days of hand cranking, ice and rock salt. Pour it in and let it mix. Emily sat on the counter keeping an eye on it and was my official taste tester to make sure it turned out ok.

In the end we added chocolate chips to it and it was soupy as hell but tasted great. All the left overs are in the freezer which should be perfect tomorrow. The kids are looking forward to it.

Tomorrow I don’t think there is much on the calendar to get done, but it would be nice to be a bit more productive then today.

OH! The feather bed is a very cool addition to the bedroom. Extra nice when your little girl jumps in bed to cuddle with you in the morning when the wife leaves for work. That was damn skippy cool!

2006 is off to a good start so far. Let’s hope the next 364 are even better.
