So today started off bad when we got a late start because the pillows were a bit to comfortable.

Then, it became very apparent once I got to the office and the e-mails started rolling in that tonight’s New England Podcasters Meetup just wasn’t going to happen. I was really looking forward to seeing some old friends and meeting the bunch of new people who have joined up. Sure enough, it wasn’t meant to be.

THEN, I get the e-mail I didn’t want to see. The one that informed me that my guitar was discontinued from the Yamaha and thus it wasn’t coming. My tuner is coming but no guitar. Grrr…

So I decided I needed to do something about this and headed on over to Guitar Center after work. They were in the middle of a huge clearance. Lucky for me because I picked this baby up. It’s the same guitar but a step up. When I saw the price online I was shocked because I got it for a LOT less then this tonight. And the color online sucks. It’s much darker and richer and damn does she sound sweet.

No name yet for her, but that will come in time.

My old guitar had nylon strings and this one is metal so my fingers are already hurting like a mother fucker, but it’s a good hurt so I’m happy. I’m very excited to learn to play and the fact that I can jack into an AMP with this one brings a little boys grin to my face.

I really loved the blue, but I’m digging my new baby even more.
