Saturday in the Chapman household and all is well.

My little boy turns 7 today. That’s a cool age. A milestone. Not sure why, but it is. He’s all kinds of psyched.

A few weeks back he mentioned wondering what he was going to get for his birthday. I joked that he was going to get a bag of carrots and of course he freaked out. I kept the joke up and of course the first present he opens is going to be a bag of carrots. He’ll flip out which of course is the point. If you can’t terrorize your kids then what is fun about being a dad? *grin*

Listening to the new CD ‘Birthday Suit’ from the band bill. These guys are talented and it’s a great CD! I finally ripped a bunch of other CDs that I bought recently so I’ll finally be able to listen to them on the iPod. I’ve realized that I hate buying music that I’ll want to podcast from iTunes because then I can’t play it because of the DRM. So CD Baby to the rescue!

I really needed to get more sleep last night. I’m going to crash tonight for sure.
