I’ts early in the morning. I was up late. I couldn’t go to sleep because I had such an energy buzz on after the show last night. It’s ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL good!

Last night the kick off show for the Podcast Hotel was great. 3CE played first and the funny thing is that he didn’t know what a podcast even was. But, after feeling the vibe and before this weekend is over I think he’s really going to get it. Then came Blame Amy who I was psyched to see and they didn’t dissapointed. They fucking kicked the door down and rocked it out!

At this point I was ready to crash and contemplated heading back, but I wanted to check out the last band. I want to check out every band here. So I figured I’d see one song and bail. NOPE! These guys grabbed me by the balls and wouldn’t let me leave the seat. Their name? Fiasco!

I’ve seen some good guitar playing in my day, but not like this. The guy gets possessed strumming away, improvising, smashing foot pedals and anything else that he can use to get a unique sound. Tom Morelo’s long lost son? Perhaps, but I’m still in awe at what I saw. I can’t wait to podcast them so that you can hear them as well.

Today the Hotel officially kicks off. Some great panels, I’m interviewing Blame Amy and then tonight more music. Really looking forward to tonight, because it’s going to be a totally different set of performers with a whole new vibe.

This event is everything I’ve hoped it would be and more. The RIGHT vibe all around.
