I Won’t Forget the Night

Last night, June 30, 2006 I have a feeling is going to go down as a day I am going to remember for a long time.

Calling Brother LoveScott and Brandon from OpenRoadTrip.net came by. Check out what they are up to. It was great. After fisbee and hang out we sat down for an hour and recorded a chat between me and Scott. Here you can see Scott on the phone with Brother Love coordinating their meeting tomorrow after they spend some time on the Cape Cod today.

After they left I checked my e-mails and there were a couple of messages from Second Life so I figured I’d jump in and see what was up.

I was sad to find out that the Walden Pond replica had disappeared. I actually found land next to it and had to buy it just to say I had a spot next to Walden Pond. Those who know me really will completely understand why that is beyond cool for me personally. But, they left because they bought a new SIM so it’s going to be a whole sim dedicated to Walden Pond. So I can’t complain too much. If you’ve got L$95k you can buy the land they left. If they had left the pond and stuff there, I would have considered it for a bit, but they didn’t. Oh well.

Chill TimeI got into SL and finally hooked up with Mitch. It only took us several weeks to do so. *laugh* A listener of Accident Hash also jumped in for her first SL experience. Then the world famous Joseph Jaffe jumped in as well. This picture is of all us just chilling on the roof of Hash HQ. Others came by as well so it was a good night.

Later I had a 72 minute phone call. I had no idea my phone showed the time when you hang up, but for some reason I noticed it last night. Might have been that it got done just before 1 am. That might have something to do with it.

I couldn’t go to sleep and when I did I didn’t sleep well. I woke up babbling like a puppy to Laura. I’m still smiling.

I’ve got errands to do today, but as I got ready to go and do them I remembered that I’m scheduled to be on Six Pixels of Separation this afternoon.

So now I’m just chilling, listening to podcasts and waiting for the call and THEN I’ll do the errands.
