Back to the Grind
This weekend was nice and relaxing. Not a whole lot going on except in my head where things never seem to quiet down or chill out. I know I’m not the onlhy one with this problem. *grin*
The kids tried to stay up and watch the fireworks on TV last night but started to fade pretty hard so we taped them and they went to bed without any fight. They were WIPED. I stayed up to watch them (Steven Tyler didn’t sound that good) and will watch them again tonight with them. They are all psyched.
My quest to find some under utilized Second Life designers and coders continues. I know they are out there. People with the talent and the drive but flying under the radar. That is who I want. Sure, I could hire some of the big guys, but I want to give a spotlight to individuals who maybe haven’t had a chance to shine yet and I’d like to give them that chance.
If you are a scripter, an architecture student or just a geek with a passion to try new things please drop me an e-mail. There are many up coming projects that I could use help on. Would be some great stuff to help build a portfolio of work.
It’s funny because I’m actually writing this in notepad on my laptop at work. I got to a meeting way early and this spot I’m in doesn’t have wireless so I’m a bit at a loss of what to do. So I figured I’d take a couple of minutes. Sip my coffee and just do a brain dump of text to the screen. Then in a couple of minutes when the meeting starts I’ll be all good. Still can’t believe that there isn’t wireless here. Going to have to mention that. I would bet money that the IT guys don’t know this is a deadspot.
All is well. If you see some weirdness with Accident Hash or U-Turn Cafe it’s alright. Just a little housekeeping going on.
