You would think without the kids here I’d sleep in late, but today I couldn’t. I went to bed WAY early last night. Completely crashed. Then this morning when I fed Roxie and let her out my brain just woke up. I tried to curl back up beside Laura and all asleep but I couldn’t. So I got up and let her continue sleeping.

It’s very nice here on the sunporch with the laptop and a cup of coffee. Peaceful as the world slowly wakes up to greet the day. No work today so I get to enjoy the solitude.

Of course now that the sun is starting to rise higher it’s going from a slight chill to sweaty hot out here so I think a move into the living room is in the near future.

No real plans for today. Tonight having dinner with Paige and her husband which will be awesome!
