Where to Find the Time
I think the #1 question I get asked by strangers and friends alike is, “how do you find the time for everything you do?”
I always laugh a bit because I’ve never been someone to just sit around and do nothing. I’ve always had a million things going on. I’m driven by passion. That’s what it boils down to.
I don’t watch a lot of TV. I spend more time looking at a computer screen then I do a television. I multitask non stop. Like right now the news is on the television. I’m not looking at it, but I can hear all the news and find out what is going on while writing this entry. Right there, that’s how I do it.
If you are not driven by passion then you won’t find the time to do what you want. But, if you are addicted to it. Don’t feel complete without it, then you will make the time.
My family is the most important thing in the world. Anyone who has tried to schedule a meeting with me at night knows it’s got to be DAMN good and important for me to schedule it before 7:30 at night because that is when the kids go to bed. I’ve got no problem doing business after they are asleep, but while they are up, I want to play and be a Dad and enjoy every minute of it. You make the time.
So, I push forward. I love everything that is going on. Sure, I’d love more time. Who wouldn’t? There is never enough time for everything, but I make as much time as I can.
