We hung out yesterday at my sisters new place. They are renting out the basement of a friends house for the summer. We chilled, grilled and just had a good time.

Abe and Roxie had a blast running around the backyard. Abe still can’t keep up with Roxie when she kicks it into overdrive, but they had a blast with each other. I’m so glad they get along. MANY days of play ahead for the two of them.

The highlight of the day was as we were saying good bye. My dad shook my hand and said “see ya Sunday morning in Minnesota.” The grin on both of our faces was huge.

Next Sunday….damn it snuck up on me. 5 days and 4 nights in the Boundary Waters. Ahhh….I can’t wait to be completely unplugged from reality. The sounds of nature and a dripping canoe paddle. That is going to be a good time. A relaxing time. I can’t wait!
