Fried C.C. Brains

I got home tonight and was totally fried. Getting ready to go on vacation so I’m working extra hard to tie up as many loose ends and projects as possible at work this week. Tomorrow is the last day in the office for a week and a half. God damn it’s going to be nice to get away.

I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it, but I’ll be unplugged from the world for most of that time. It’s a scary/weird thing because I’m always wired. It’s just part of life. My buddy Eric Rice is currently talking about this and as usual I love his slant on things. Usually do.

I’m excited to sit back under a tree. Write in my paper journal, read a big book (still don’t know what I’m going to bring. It’s never a “story” type of book. Those are for the plane ride), chill with my dad and just rebalance with nature. I haven’t done that in a LOOONG time. Visited my Cathedral of the Pines. I can’t wait.

But, I also need to make sure I don’t get burnt out before leaving this week. That won’t be good.

Got Foo mail back up so that makes me happy.
