Yesterday was a great day. Sure, the place we had the party forgot our food and then feed us till we almost exploded (and charged me all for it), but it was a good time and THAT is what matters.

Abe (my parents chocolate lab) is getting bigger and still as fun as always. It was great to watch Roxie put him in his place and show her authority. Pretty funny because she would never have done that a year ago, but now that she hangs with the big dogs she will. Good times.

A little office cleanout at Babson today, quck trip to Laura’s work, to the jewelery store to look at the bracelet I bought Laura and then “back to school” shopping for the kids. Yes, I’m not ready for Emily to start, but I’m excited at the same time. It’s a Daddy’s little girl problem. Fathers of daughters will completely understand.

Quite the nice day out. I’m thinking something extra yummy on the grill tonight. When am I not thinking that? *grin*
