PodCamp Photos & Reflections
My whole allbum can be viewed here. 126 total photos starting at 8:15 yesterday morning until about 1 am this morning. Fun times all around.
I met so many great new people yesterday. It would take too long and I’d spell them all arong, but you know who you are.
I also got to finally meet people face-to-face that I consider friends. People drove from Canada to be part of this and so that we could hook up. I met someone who flew in from Silicon Valley to be there. Amanda Congdon was sweet and nice. The Rocket Boom crew was there. Familiar faces. New faces. People with lots of money and big companies. Individuals trying to just figure this out and on their own. Every type was there and everyone was interacting.
This was one of those weekends that you know something special happened. The vibe was magical. You gave a presentation to a standing room only crowd with someone you met in real time for the first time less then a couple of hourse before. You made new friends that you are going to socialize and do business with. You made new friends. That is powerful mojo and I’m still feeling it right now.
Last night after all the festivities some of us went back to the hotel and just sat around and jammed. Uncle Seth brought the instruments. Covers of all sorts were sung. Harmonica lessons were given. Pizza was ordered. New friendships got even closer. It was a good night.
The organizers of PodCamp should be very proud. I know from talking to them last night they are. They worked their tails off to take a little idea mentioned randomly to a full blown event with somewhere between 200-300 people in attendence. Way to go guys.
To everyone I met, shooked hands with and shared a drink with. Stay in touch. Let’s keep the conversation going.
