No, this is not some profound post or anything like that. The subject is the title of the new not-quite-yet released CD from my good buddies Now is Now.

Mitch Alden is the lead singer and creative force behind this band. (pictured here with wife Dylan on the set of the music video we shot for them) Earlier this summer Dan and I headed up to hang out in the studio one night while they were getting close to finishing up the recording.

He e-mailed me the other day saying that he had the master of the new CD and wanted to know if I wanted to give it a listen. Stupid question? Yes!

It arrived in the mail today and I’m extremely excited. I’m only hallf way through it. If your already a Now is Now fan then you are going to love this CD. The familiar vibe is there with some twists and turns a bit here and there. It’s so damn great to finally hear “Wheel” as a studio recording. It’s not as big as I thought they might make it, but it’s still as good as the first night I heard it at the Brickhouse.
