Last night my buddy JC Hutchins did something that I don’t believe has been done before. He held a big gathering in Second Life to officially launch the sequel to his very popular debut Podiobook 7th Son: Book One Descent.

I got in world specifically to attend the event which was held on Podcast Island. It was great to see how many people showed up and how many new faces there was.

I haven’t finished listening to the first book yet so I didn’t listen to some of the audio and then had to run so I couldn’t hang out to see the womb and the clone avatars that I know were built. But, I’ll hook up with JC later to check it all out because I am interested big time and seeing a book come alive in Second Life.

You know me. I love people using new media in unique ways to promote and generate awareness for their product and JC certainly did that with this event. I can’t wait to be in a position shortly where I can help people host events such as this!
