Awards, Podcasting & Waking Up
I’m back home after almost getting stuck in Atlanta for the night.
Found out there Accident Hash won a Podcast Peer Award during the trip home. That was a cool surprise. The list of nominationed shows there are amazing and I honestly think that if you are new to podcasting and looking or some good first listens, that is where I think I’d send you first.
One question for everyone out there. I saw a ton of people with video cameras and still cameras taking photos at the Podcast Awards ceremony at the PME. Does anyone have audio or video of my acceptance “speech”? Or even a photo? I’d love to have a copy of that if it’s out there.
I’ve got a stack of business cards to follow up on and a head full of ideas to share with others. I think I wore out my notebook and pen on the plane ride home dumping all of my ideas. That is what conferences are best for in my book.

I just saw on the People’s Choice Podcast Awards website that they will be posting a video of the entire awards ceremony sometime today. Can’t wait to see you “get it” my friend.

O.K. Maybe it’s old timers disease… my suggestion that it would be online today was not accurate. The website says “The event will be recorded in High Def with disc and a Videocast made available the week following the Awards Ceremony”.

I was looking around on flickr today at random pictures of the PME and saw some of the awards ceremony. I don’t remember who they belonged to, but I want to say it was theagencyblog. He had a lot of pictures and I’m thinking there were pictures of DND, feast of fools and other random winners.
