My Anniversary Surprise
Last night I decided to get off the main computer and do some SL work on the couch with my laptop and Laura. Before heading to bed I checked my e-mail one more time and there was a note from Dan saying there was a file I had to listen to with Laura.
At first I thought it was another baby announcement. But, then I saw the name of the file and guessed that it was an anniversary message for Laura and I since today is out 10 Year Wedding Anniversary.
At the time I didn’t get it, but Laura was acting very strange about it all. As soon as I started listening I knew why.
Laura has recorded a special Accident Hash for our anniversary.
She hadn’t just recorded something. She set up a comment line so people could call in messages, reached out to artists to get input and audio from them for the show and even went out and found a new track to play on the show. She totally became a podcaster!
I was and still am speechless. You should have seen the smile on my face. It was huge and playing it again for the kids this morning was fun too. They did an AWESOME job of keeping it quiet. Dan and family had actualy come to the house to record this while I was away and they never told me.
Give it a listen and you’ll see just how awesome of a wife I have. I love her to death. She’s a hell of a lady!

Congrats on your 10 year anniversary!
I thought the podcast was great, but reading this story of how much effort Laura put in, and even your kids keeping it quiet brings a tear to my eye.
