Podcasting Presentation: It’s All About the Content
Based on the questions and the reactions the presentation went well.
At least accoding to the Canadian Marketing Blog and Jaffe.
I feel pretty good about it. Felt weird to only talk about podcasting and not the social media world as a whole, but I hope people took away a better understanding then when they sat down this morning.

Hey CC,
Great presentation today! One of my faves of the whole conference to be honest.
I do have one question that came up one my way home…what questions do you ask yourself to see/measure if your podcast is successful? I know that ‘traditional’ questions cannot be asked here (as per Jaffe’s pres) - particularily the Managing the Gray podcast.
PS. I hope you do decide to add text messaging. But I am just being selfish…
Keep up the great podcast…
Whoops, another PS. Would love to see you in second life. Look for me, my name is Pink Citylights.
cheers and safe trip home, mish

It’s a big apple pie factory for whales.
CC you definitely started the day off right. Thanks for your presentation.
I’ve been experimenting with podcasts for Raincoast Books, a book publisher I work for, and so far I think the shows are a success. As per your tips: we’re focussed on content, we haven’t gone it alone (I’m working with Robert Ouimet at At Large Media who used to head CBC Radio 3 in Canada), he’s a great host, and we were the first Canadian publisher to start podcasting, so we’re working at being the expert. Thanks for your presentation.
If you’re interested in listening to a Raincoast podcast, we’re on iTunes (search Raincoast Books), and Feedster, Podcast Alley, etc. I’ll post a link below.
I haven’t read your blog long enough to know your reading tastes, but my guess is you’d like Nathan Sellyn’s book Indigenous Beasts, which you can find on this page:

Thanks again for your presentation for the CMA.
