The Fun Of Launching a New Company
It’s exciting and tiring days/nights/all hours around here right now. With a name like crayon wouldn’t you think all we had to do was color some business cards or something? *smirk*
Ask anyone who has ever launched a company and I’m sure they would describe what I’m feeling right now. The rollercoaster of emotions you go through every hour of the day. The fact that there will never be enough time to do everything you want to do. The fact that you DO have to get some sleep every night. Eating is important, but coffee is more important. It’s the world I’m living right now.
You know what though? I wouldn’t change it for the world.
I’m excited, scared and wired all at the same time. Did one interview this morning and have another one later this morning with a good friend.
It’s the time for millions of little quick jobs. Five minute phone calls. Multiple Skype windows open and IM’s all over the place between Second Life and gTalk.
Before I left my parent’s house this past weekend my Dad got a great little grin on his face (it’s a signature Chapman thing) and asked, “So how many more gray hairs will you have next weekend when I see you?”
I just laughed and jumped in the truck for the ride home. Not sure if I’ve got any more or not, but if that the price of this much fun then I can live with. I’ll keep cranking the tunes and pushing forward.
Ahh, the coffee mug is empty. That means it’s time to end the blog post! *grin*

Okay, I probably missed it but what time is this big SL launch event happening on Thursday? I have some stuff that night, but I’d love to be there for at least part of it if I can.

Loved the 10th anniversary show.. Awesome! I did one like that for my bro’ in Japan, (Called it a Famcast!) but Laura’s was way cooler!
Take care, good luck, and get ready to color those pixels!
