24 Hours In The Life

It’s not every day that I get to drop a random Madsumo quote so of course I had to take advantage of it right now.

We’ve got just under 24 hours until crayon goes live. To even try to sum up the emotions that are going on inside me right now would be impossible. It’s excitement, fear, nervousness, pride and a bit of everything else thrown in there for good measure.

Wandering CohortsI did get a break from it all LATE last night as I was doing some touch ups on the island when I got a random friend request in Second Life. Something about the name made sense but I didn’t know who it was. Then it clicked! It was Dan!!

He figured it was time to try out SL since he knows I’m big into it. I took him over to Dirty to see how the house and things are coming along. Introduced him to the builder and then proceeded to drive a car with us in it off the roof of the house. Typical stuff for a couple of wandering cohorts!

If you’re planning on attending the event you’ve got to make sure that you go over here to RSVP. Be in world before 12:00 noon EST because once it starts It’s going to be harder to get into the island I have a feeling. Thankfully I don’t have to manage that part. Millions of Us is doing it for us and I love them for it.

Exciting times ahead! I can’t wait.

CC- This is so awesome. I wish you all the best luck in the world. I know you are an inspiration to me. It is really something for you to be doing something you love on your own terms. I hope I can do that one day rather than helping out these crappy state workers on he helpdesk here in PA. I am in such a rutt and stories like this give me some hope. Keep doing all that you can do. I will check CRAYON out on SL for sure!

Was at you new pad just a little while ago, someone’s knicked all the stairs! Big shock falling through the roof.

Not sure if I’ll be online 5pm here in the UK, so may miss the launch which will be a bummer. If I don’t make it, hope it all goes well.
