Shit Covered Dog Morning

You got it. NOT a fun start to the morning around here today.

Laura is off X-mas shopping with her mom for the weekend and the kids had soccer. We couldn’t find Dylan’s jersey for the life of us when Roxie comes in from outside with new highlights. Shit highlights. Grrr!! She loves to roll around in it from time to time and at 7:15 am on a Saturday this is less then funny.

I gave her a bath and confirmed that Dylan could wear Emily’s shirt (they are identical up until they are much older) and then headed out to the games.

Coming Soon to the U-Turn CafeThe rest of the day was pretty chilled. I left the computer off on purpose and we hung out together. We all took naps. Emily got into a groove of watching cooking shoes and there is a pile of new art on the kitchen table. We just played outside till it got dark which was nice.

Getting psyched for London this week. I’ve gotten so many great messages from people with recommendations of where to go, tips and tricks and just overall advice on how to make it an amazing trip. The last time Laura and I really escaped like this was to Miami 3 years ago. I can’t wait to do this. Whole new country and very little planned. That’s the way I like to do it!

Also, gearing up for the following weekend to launch the virtual U-Turn Cafe with a live performance from Toronto with Uncle Seth and a special opening act from Boston. I can’t wait!!! Sure, it’s going to be a lot of work and the cafe might be in a bit of rough shape, but the sim is called Dirty for a reason right?

And people wonder why I hate dogs… ;)

Always seems like those disasters happen when you can least afford the time for them, doesn’t it? With me, it’s always some crisis with the kids five minutes before we need to be in the car and going in the morning.

Have fun in London. Travel safe.
