Sort of Off the Grid
Just found out that my cell phone won’t work in London. Not such a bad thing as it’ll allow me to be a bit off the grid and not checking my Blackberry non stop. You won’t hear me complain.
So if your trying to get a hold of me between now and Monday evening it might be a bit tough. I’ll check e-mail most nights, but you never know.
PodcastCon UK here I come.

You can buy yourself a very cheap (around £25) Pay-As-You-Go mobile phone when you get here then you’ll be contactable for the week.

Ah… the Verizon problem? We’ll have to explain to Ewan that there are US networks that are world-wide compatible, just not all of them.
Sorry I forgot to add that to my list of hard-learned UK travel tips.
See you soon!

Take advantage of the outage and try to unplug in the evenings just a bit, if you can. You might actually unwind a bit.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go back to clutching my Blackberry so hard my fingerprints are permanently imbued into it and you’ll have to wait until I’m dead to pry it from my hands with a crowbar.
