Last Day in London
We had a great day today doing exactly what we had planned on doing.
We bought a ticket on one of those double decker buses that we could hop on and off at pretty much every tourist attraction in London. We figured it was a great way to see a lot of the city.
Started out at the London Eye which is a huge sort of ferris wheel that you ride in a glass egg type of orb that moves VERY slowly up and around. About 30 minutes total and you get to see the whole city which is nice. Wasn’t quite as breath taking as I thought it would be but it was neat indeed.
We also hit Piccadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace, Westminister Abbey and a bunch of other great stops.
Found out tonight that on Sunday nights not much is open so we walked a LONG way to finally get to a pub where we could sit down and have some food. Of course the Steak & Ale pie washed down with a Stella and a Guiness made up for it all.
Time to cuddle and watch a DVD with some beers from the bar and then crash for the night.
Then back to Boston in the morning. A GREAT trip!!!
