Considering that the rink gets over 1/4 million skaters a year, and untold millions of tourists, they would probably recoup their investment pretty quickly. That's the great thing about Second Life: you can try out architectural concepts like this, at an aesthetical level anyway, for practically no cost. No roof, but it is a pretty cool concept.
