Laura and I were sitting on the couch drinking our coffee on Saturday morning. A typical conversation arose where she asks me “so what do you want to get done this weekend?” and then I ask her the same thing.

We both came back with nothing as a solid answer so we decided to head up to NH for the weekend. She realized that we probably wouldn’t see her parents before the holidays so we decided we’d go up. A great decision all around.

This gave me time to listen to Accident Mash #3 and several episodes of Seventh Son. Not having a commute any more makes it harder to stay on top of all my podcasts so this was nice.

The kids got to help my parents decorate the tree and we got to have some quality chill time which was needed. Didn’t feel rushed. Didn’t feel too long. Felt just right.
