5 Things Meme
If you read any form of blogs you’ve probably seen posts like this where people share 5 little known facts about themselves and then tag 5 others to do the same. Good old fashion fun and I was a little bummed that no one had tagged me yet when Michael Seaton did so.
I’m a pretty open book so let me think what people might not know:
- I’m a published poet.
- My one place I must go before I die is Alaska. I have always wanted to go there. My family knows that if I ever win the lottery that my Dad and I disappear to Alaska for at least a month to hike, fish and explore.
- I grew up doing theater and am a HUGE fan of William Shakespeare. Getting to touch the stage at the Globe a few weeks back was a huge deal to me.
- I do almost all the cooking in our family. My kitchen is totally my domain and I love to make big meals for people although I don’t get to do it nearly enough. Italian is certainly my specialty and cooking inside rather on the grill is a sin in the summer time.
- I HATE Gin, but will drink just about anything else. Especially good scotch or tequila. Yes there is such a thing.
So who do I want to tag. Hopefully these people have not done it yet. Julien Smith, Dave Slusher, Ewan Spense, Scott Sigler and Anji Bee. Get to it!

I was starting to get worried about you C.C., it was going on 2 weeks or so. I was surprised me that no one had tagged you yet, glad to be of service
With respect to booze, I hate Gin too(and Rum too for that matter - there is a story behind the Rum thing that I’d rather not get into here.) And, yes, there is such a thing as good tequila. Ever tried the Cabo Wabo - Sammy Hagar’s brew? I have not tried it but heard it is pretty good.

Pretty funny about the Alaska one since it’s 5.am and I’m sat in Anchorage airport having finally got moved up here myself! Flew out yesterday, so think I’m onto hour 34 since I left England now… Another couple of flights before I actually to get where I’ll now be calling home - you need to find a conference in Alaska and ‘pop in’
