Brain Dump Blogging
TONS of stuff on my mind and around the net. Only way to do it is brain dump on the page and see what happens. Bulleted lists are great for this *grin*
- crayon Holiday Party tonight in Second Life. 8-10 pm EST. My good buddy Lynette will be DJing the event with nothing but podsafe holiday music. www.crayonvillesecondlife.com will take you right there.
- Just read that iLike.com got $13 million invested in them today which is awesome news. But, I’m conflicted because the money came from Ticketmaster who I do NOT like one bit. I’ve uninstalled the iTunes sidebar, but will keep using the service because I really like it.
- Dylan and I had fun playing NBA ‘07 on the PSP last night. A demo of it arrived in the mail yesterday which was a cool surprise.
- I hate last minute requests for things that should have been better planned out weeks ago
- I feel very proud that I’m in a position where I can make a donation to Bentley for the first time since graduating. I always told myself I would when I was in a position that I could. It feels very good and today is the day.
- Today marks my 2 year anniversary of recording my first podcast. Reality Bitchslap Radio may be no more, but I certainly didn’t think it would spawn Accident Hash, Managing the Gray and The U-Turn Cafe way back then. And doesn’t it feel longer then 2 years? Sure does to me.
- Rumors are swirling that there might be a late night XXX-mas party at the Dirty U-Turn tonight, but you didn’t hear that here.
- I’ve got to pick my sisters up from the airport tomorrow. I can’t wait to see them. Should be an interesting ride back to the house. Still don’t know where everyone is sleeping. *grin*
- Stuck in Customs is officially the most dangerous blog I’ve come across in a long time. And by dangerous I mean that it sparked some big time creative juices in me!
- My buddy Chance sent me a link to check out this U2 “Windows in the Skies” video. It’s mind boggling how much time this had to of taken to put together.
- Ofoto’s customer service impressed me. I only received 1/3 of my holiday card order. I sent them an e-mail and in under 24 hours had a response asking if I’d like a refund or the whole order shipped again. They are in the mail on route.
I think that is about it. I know that as soon as I post this I’ll remember something else I wanted to put on here, but I feel SOOOOOOOOOOO much better getting these out of my system.
Back to the grind.

I completely get the whole “donating to the ol’ alma mater” thing. I’ve been donating to the UCONN Men’s Hockey program since I graduated. (If it wasn’t for Coach, I wouldn’t have gotten my internship with the Whalers.) There’s a rush of pride that goes through me when I see my name in the media guide and I know exactly what my money is going towards.
