End of 2006 Questions
I read about it on Jeff Pulver’s blog and then my friend Chris mentioned it to me as well so I figured I’d share my answers to these questions.
The questions are in bold and my answers are below each of them:
Most Useful Application
This is a tie for me between WordPress and Gmail. I honestly can’t get through the day without either of them. They are the way I communicate and stay organized.
Best Web Site
Bloglines.com gets more hits from me then any other website out there. I have it opened in a tab of Firefox almost all day and night and check it constantly. How else could I keep track of all the trends, friends and insanity of the interweb?
Worst Web site
If the site sucks why would I ever go there? It would be one look and then I would never come back. I guess one that I love what it does, but damn does it need a face life and an upgrade to it in a big way is the Podsafe Music Network. Yes, I’m associated with it, but I’m being honest and I think everyone involved from the users to the programmers would agree that it needs an update in 2007!
Hottest Trend
Virtual Worlds and the meshing of them into other realms. Sure, I mean Second Life and the fact that my company has our home base there. But, I’m also talking about me owning a football jersey from a fictionary team that I’ve interacted with on a podcast and in a virtual world. I also mean that when I turn on my Wii there is an avatar I’ve made who can wander onto other people’s Wii. The lines are blurring and we haven’t even begun to see the next level of cool in these areas. We’ve only taken baby steps so far.
Favorite Gadget
My Logitech QuickCam Ultra Vision has me completely captivated at the moment. The quality and flexibility of it is what has my attention. I bring it ever where with me now when I travel.

Here here on the PMN! I love it, but it does need an overhaul.
