If My Life Was a Movie, What Would the Soundtrack Be?
I’m a sucker for meme’s and games of Blog Tag and when my friend Paige sent this one to me in an e-mail I figured rather then passing it on via e-mail I’d start it as another game of Blog Tag. Have fun and let me know when you post because this was more fun then I thought it would be.
How to Play:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question below, type the song that’s playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the nextbutton
6. Don’t lie and try to pretend you’re cool …
Here are mine:
Opening Credits:
I Won’t Break Down - Scott Helm
First Day At School:
Sandy Toes - Vincent Van Go Go
Falling In Love:
Painkillers - Candy Butchers
Breaking Up:
They Can’t Take It - The Cool Waters Band
Prom:

Final Battle:
Now - Prince
Death Scene:
I Don’t Get It - Mike Errico
Funeral Song:
We Deal in Dreams - Live
End Credits:

Finale:
Deep - [munk]
And since this is now on the web I’ll tag some people like Jeff Pulver, Julien Smith, Mitch Joel, Shel Holtz, Mark Blevis, Chris Brogan and Christopher Penn just to get the ball rolling.

Put it on shuffle. Press play. For every question below, type the song that’s playing. When you go to a new question, press the next button. Don’t lie and try to pretend you’re cool … […]

I think I posted my list earlier, but it didn’t appear. Here it is: http://davemadethis.blogspot.com/2007/01/soundtrack-of-my-lifeif-my-life-was.html
I believe I probably have the most upbeat/mellow Final Battle.
This is hilarious!

The karma of this is pretty cool. Random is lots more fun than trying to work this out yourself.

[…] CC Chapman tagged some people in his post If My Life Was a Movie, What Would the Soundtrack Be? The idea is to put your iTunes library on shuffle and record the name of each song that comes up in sequence against a specific list of scenes in your life — also in sequence. The people that CC tagged have been tagging other people and it has made it’s way to me through Mark Blevis. So here’s my list: […]

[…] In C.C. Chapman’s most recent version of blog tag, the meme is: for the scenes listed below, open iTunes, hit shuffle, and click next to list off a single entry for the following. *DISCLAIMER: this laptop only has podsafe music on it, and isn’t representative of my music collection. All the tunes below can be found at http://music.podshow.com. (I wonder if Jeff Pulver anticipated THIS spinning off from his efforts. […]
