Nice picture…in looking at the original I noticed that this was shot at iso 1600. It doesn’t doesn’t look like the kind of shot that should require that high of an iso. It would be interesting to shoot something like this again with an iso 200. It will be a much less noisy image. By dropping the iso it will increase the shutter time so camera shake could be an issue. But you should be able to do a fairly decent job at 1/50sec and yours was shot at 1/800sec so you’ve got quite a bit of room to play with. The aperture will stay the same f/1.8 since your shooting in Aperture Priority mode. I’ve got a couple of shots of a candle I took the other day on my http://photos.millardfam.com photoblog that were shot with my Nikon D50 and 50mm f/1.8, iso 400 I think.
