Yes To Carrots
I’m really excited about a new client that crayon is working with called Yes to Carrots.
They are a hair and skin care company that is all natural. I’ve seen it called a “wellness product.” The quick and easy description is Dead Sea Mud mixed with carrots, but of course I’m generalizing. Their website does a much better job of describing it then me.
You can only buy the products currently through Walgreens.com but we are hoping to expand that more in the near future.
We are working on setting up a way for bloggers and podcasters to try out the product so if your interested let me know. Details will be coming soon. For now you can check out the Yes to Carrots MySpace page, read up on their web site, or just order some product for yourself to give it a try. If you do try it, let me know what you think. I’m curious.
I ordered some for Laura and Emily to try. I’m far from an expert on any of these sort of things, but I did like the smell of the lotion that Emily put on her hands. She thought I was joking when I said it had carrots in the lotion. Her face was priceless!

It would also be nice - if you could suggest to them - that they consider a percentage of proceeds, even just a little, to the Two Seas Canal project. Global warming combined with diversion of the Jordan River is rapidly turning the Dead Sea into the Dead Desert. The current plan is to divert the Mediterranean Sea to the Dead Sea via a canal to match the volume of water lost.

An interesting thought Chris, I will mention it to them. I do know they have a Seed Fund that they talk about on their site at http://www.yes-to-carrots.com/seeds.html which was another reason I dug them.

Have you thought of Bugs Bunny as a spokesman? Maybe when he dresses up like a girl and attracts Elmer Fudd? I see product placement opportunities galore.
Have a great night.

I have been to 3 different Walgreens and no one knew what I was talking about when I asked for Yes To Carrots products. I realize I can get it on the Walgreens website, but I can’t justify pay an extra $5.50 for shipping.

Hi Liza, Yes To Carrots will be available at most Walgreens stores from mid June. Yippeee

I am probably the oldest person writing here, but that’s ok.
Just had to put my comments in, since some of you may have moms, or other older relatives that are interested in trying “Yes to Carrots”. I tried this product about 4 weeks ago and absolutely love it! Ladies (and guys) if you have not already tried the spa manicure, I implore you to do so.
This stuff is a grainy, oily product that you dip your fingers in and rub all over your hands. Well, I decided since it made my hands feel so incredible, I would use it on my whole body. Let me tell you…. WOW is all I can say.
Every single inch of me becomes so incredibly soft and smooth that I want to use it every day! The down side is,
it is a little messy, so you need to stand in the tub. Actually that works great anyway, because once your done, rubbing it in all over your body (don’t forget the feet!)
just turn on your shower and rinse. You will be amazed at how your skin feels. Of course you would know…. don’t use it on your face! Probably a little too harsh for that area.
The other down side is that it is a little pricey to use daily, but I can make a jar of it last about 2 weeks and I use it every day. A little goes a long way. One jar at my Walgrees is about $17.00. I use all the other products too except the shampoo and conditioner, all of which are great.
Well, just had to get my comments out there for all to hear.
By the way, in case your moms are wondering… I am 56 and have very fair, sensitive skin and this stuff has had no bad side effects for me at all. Just SOFT AND SMOOTH!!! :o)

Hi there,
I just bought a tub of YTC body butter the other day. I have been using it on my hands before I go to bed and wake up with my hands feeling smooth, a little silky and far less dry than usual.
I’ll see how it goes on the rest of my body.
Israeli Dead Sea products are usually fantastic but mixing it with carrots is a great idea. I really like the concept!

The products are available at Walgreens stores too. They are AWESOME. The scent is good, but not too sweet or strong — fine for guys. I’ve been using the body butter on my feet with socks at night and it’s been working wonders. The eye cream is also fabulous and I love the body wash too. I love that it’s all natural and w/o mineral oil but the bonus of the Seed Fund is great. This stuff ROCKS!

Hi. I own most of the products, the shampoo, conditioner, day cream, night cream, face mask, body butter and the eye cream. I love the products and my two favorites are the night cream and the conditioner, I can’t imagine my “beauty routine” without them. I am 29 and my skin looks better now then it did when I was 21….come to think of it, so does my hair, so I definitely have to say yes to carrots. I’m hoping my local walgreens starts to carry the body scrub and the body lotion, I really would like to try them.

Oohh, I almost forgot to add that I have rheumatoid arthritis and I am on five different medications. So, that being said, for my hair and skin to look this good, says a lot for the yes to carrots products.

I vote YES to CARROTS! Bought the last box of 8 products before Christmas, great deal, and fell in love very quickly. Skin care, no hair care. I have used from medium to very high end products in the past and these are as good as any and better than most in some cases. These are High quality eye cream and facial exfoliator, both spread so wonderfully. Facial creams that actually absorb. Skin so soft.Incredible ingredients and being so natural is a bonus as I tend to itches that come from “who knows what” of ingredients in stuff. Products seem to last, so I find this an incredible value. Now, if there were some anti-wrinkle/skin lift type products???? I tend to hop into Walgreens all over Dallas, stores tend to have at least a few of these products on hand, but only saw 1 “boxed set” recently, with about 5 products. Start replacing your old products when you run out and you will be happy. Call around to store if have to, it tends to be on begin of lotion aisle ,shelves under the bee products. I stop customers all the time to tell them to look, try.

I just bought a Gift Offer box of this product. I was excited to try it as it sounded so nice. Well.. it stung my face like mad. I looked up some of the ingredients on EWG and they are known skin irritants. Hmmmm .. “NO to Carrots” for this lady! Id rather use safer products than this brand. Also- smells way too strong for my taste. Headache strong.

I haven’t tried this yet, but looks good. This month Walgreens is offering a rebate of $9.99 on Yes to carrots, so it is a good time to try this product. And, it is available in the store.

Yes to carrots was a miracle, an answered prayer. My co worker had psoriasis really bad. It was on her arm, then it spread to her face, hips, legs, and breast. It blead, cracked, and it was painfu. She use to cry herself to sleep. For two years she spent a fortune for medications, and doctors. NOTHING WORKED!
She tried a sample of the YES TWO CARROTS BODY BUTTER. She put a little bit on her arm. The next day it was flaking off, and going away. So she bought the tub of it. Within three weeks, all of the psoriasis was gone.
I thought, now what is going on with this stuff? What is in the Dead Sea Minerals? I did some research on the Dead Sea. The Dead Sea contains 26 healing minerals. A lot of history took place near, and at the Dead Sea.
My husband, Michael has Lupus. When he gets out in the sun he gets this rash on his body. It looks like the devil scratched him. That usually goes away after he gets out of the sun. The only thing is that, some how this rash stayed on the front of his chest. It never went away. So, I tried some of that Yes To Carrots Body Butter. I was expecting to see it all gone over night. WRONG! Well, after three nights, it was all gone. I was AMAZED, to say the least!
Thank you Ralph,
We love you!
Thank you Walgreens. Walgreen’s carry the coolest, and latest products that work very good. The Beauty Advisors are always up on the lastest information on products. I found out they go to classes and learn about the new products.

Hello, 48 hours ago I tried Y to C moisturizing lotion for the first time. I have never had an allergic reaction to any product before, but ever since a few hours after application, I have been absolutely covered in the most intensely itchy hives I have ever encountered! I love the smell of the product, but I have to doubt the ‘purity’ and ‘all natural’ aspects of it…The itching is driving me mad!!!

I purchased a container of Yes to Carrots Body Butter and have been using it for the past couple of weeks. I absolutely love it - until this past weekend. We as women take special care of our feet in the summer so I have been applying the butter to my feet as well as the rest of my body. Needless to say when I looked down at my favorite red leather sandels later in the day there were dark stains in several areas of the sandel. I cannot get the stains out of the sandels so those are history. I wonder what it is doing to clothing that has direct contact to skin that has the body butter applied to it.

I’ve been using the Yes to Carrots shampoo and conditioner for months and, I must say, it’s almost like having a completely new head of hair. It’s softer, it’s shinier, and all around healthier. I’m half Puerto Riccan and I have some VERY hard to deal with hair. I’ve tried professional products and nothing compares to YEStoC, and YTC costs half as much!
I am in LOVE.
