Hi CC:
I'm sorry, but I'm not going to be able to make it tonight. I really want to meet you and your family, and to get down to some podsafe tunage.

Unfortunately, Sam (my son) still has Croup. I thought it would have passed by now, but we had a really rough night last night.

It's a couple of hours to Nashville, plus a hotel. I don't think the little guy is up to it.

I apologize. I guess we'll have to wait until next time you're in town, or when I'm in Boston.

Have a great time and safe trip.

[...] Tomorrow is the concert. I really hope C.C. is able to get through his adventure and gets there. While the concert will be great, and I’m sure I’ll have fun either way, I was really hoping to meet C.C. and tap his brain on some things. [...]

Hey there,
Sorry that you guys are all going through hell and back!!! Kids always have the best persepctive in bad times such as these. As I was reading your blog it reminded me of being told stories of the night of the car accident when you and Dad sat in the doorway of the mens room and mom and I (in her belly) sat in the doorway of the womens room...I wonder if you had any comments along the same lines as Emily *grin* You WILL make it here tomorrow!!! Can't wait to get the call from you that you have landed safely in Nashville, and to walk into Edge Hill Studios tomorrow night after work and get to hug each one of you!!!
CHIN UP, SHOULDERS BACK, AND HEAD HELD HIGH...it is the Chapman way after all *grin*
