18 Years is a LONG Time

As we sat on the couch this morning and realized the date we also realized that 18 years ago today Laura and I started dating. We know this date and always celebrate a little bit so it was funny that we both had forgotten about it and that it took a Harlem Globetrotters ad on the television for it to click.

What have you been doing for 18 years? It’s crazy when I really stop and think about it. That’s a long time. I’m convinced it’s why we have such a great relationship. We went through the hard and crappy times early on and came out on the other side better.

Had a fun conversation about Podcruise Miami. Laura is into the idea of going. Going to be an awesome time!!!

That’s a pretty good stretch right there, bruh. Wifey and I have been together for 11 and it still only feels like a couple of years. It’s funny when you look back and see that you’ve grown up with this other person (and are still growing with them). Time is crazy like that.

Congrats! 18 is significant. From Wikipedia…

In Judaism, the Chai symbol consists of the letters of the Hebrew alphabet Het (ח) and Yod (י). In the Hebrew language, the word chai (חי) spelled by these two letters means “living”, and is related to the word for “life”

So my learned friend - To you Laura, La Chaim - as in To Life and the next 18 and the 18 after that!

    Life -
