Dear Mr. President
I’ll never forget months ago riding in the car with the family when the song Dear Mr. President came on the radio. I had no idea who was singing at the time but I was FLOORED that radio was playing this. It’s raw, honest and straight to the point. Pretty much sums up my feelings as well.
Someone just posted a link to the video on Twitter and I had to share. Pink is one of the FEW truly talented recording artists out there. I think her choice in music is crap sometimes, but she does have raw talent in my mind.

When I first heard this song in July, I sat down and I cried pretty hard and then I played it again. And then again. Even now, it still makes me cry. Speaking up, speaking out is something that I hold great respect for. Pink gets a huge page in my book for doing so. Simply amazing.
