One Guy’s Thoughts in iTunes

I had held off on adding this show to iTunes until I was sure I was going to be doing it for a while and now you can add One Guy’s Thoughts to iTunes. Get all the latest content free and delivered.

Thankfully something finally went right today. Morning started off first thing with a shitty ass e-mail and never picked up from there. Little league was just as bad tonight. I swear it must be a full moon or something because everyone is acting less then good.

Just downed an ICE cold beer. Ahhh that felt good. Going to just relax for a few minutes before being interviewed on a podcast and then work to do that I was hoping to get to earlier but was waiting on someone else so I couldn’t. So glad tomorrow is Friday.

Glad you discovered Rox’s Beachwalks.tv and that you decided to launch your Thoughts cast. Now can you convince your compadre Dave Slusher to do one at Myrtle Beach (Slush at the Beach?). :)

Mate, everyone has days like this. They suck, we move on. As for the work, the system I use involves a list of priorities. The priority is based on consequences of not doing the work. High priority = major consequences. Within priorities, I work by due date. Once the list of priorities is done, use the four “D”s. In order of preference: 1.”Do it now”. If you can’t, then 2.”Delegate”. If you can’t, then 3.”Defer and Date Activate” meaning a reminder is triggered by a machine when that date occurs. If you can’t do that, then 4.”Delete it”. Because you aren’t able to do the task, so why try? Accept the consequences and move on. This soaks up a small part of my morning and reduces a lot of stress from my day. OH, keep your list of tasks all in ONE place. I use MS Outlook, but the tool does not matter. Hope this helps reduce your stresses.

    Cheers from Australia.
