Manic Monday

Ok, I feel like I have butterflies the size of 747s flying around inside of me.

House shopping went awesome. So much so that I have some paperwork to sign and then we see what happens.

This house looks awesome. We worked our tails off this weekend to get it ready to hit the market. Some little things left to do which will get done.

Going to keep Twitter off for the day and try to minimize IMs so that I can just bury myself in work and try not to think about all this. TRY being the key word.

Good luck! A friend of mine just went through this crazy thing where a bid on her place fell through and she was terrified that another one wouldn't come... she wound up having a bidding war over her place about a month later and got over her asking price!

    Best of luck
  • dude. house shopping is the best and worst experience ever. i know it'll all work out, can't wait to see the place! you should chronicle the progression of decoration of the new joint!
  • Good luck on the house, fingers crossed.

So, will you be a little closer to actually being in "Metro West Boston?" snark...
  • Nope, I'm not moving to Spokane and I can assure you that it has a stove. I'm a kitchen guy remember? I checked that part out very carefully.
  • Dude, that is so weird... my parents called me yesterday to tell me they just sold THEIR house as well! You're not moving to Spokane, are you? I'm pretty sure they would've called me about it by now...

    Pax,
    Matthew
  • Good luck with the house! My mom put her house up for sale in NE Pennsylvania (Scranton area-yes, The Office is based in a real city) and her house sold within two weeks.
Now she is coming out here today to look in Utah...and guess who gets to drive her around everywhere! :(
  • Sending good house wishes your way... We went to a neighbor's house yesterday and he had to buy the house in one day after flying up from Atlanta. He bought the house, and then when his wife got here and moved in she asked him where the kitchen stove was.

The house had no stove in the kitchen. And not space for one either.

    Weird.

There was a stove in the third floor, in like a little apartment, but the provious owners had no need for a stove so didn't design space for one in the kitchen.

And my neighbor did not notice... Ha!

I'm sure the house you are looking at has a stove.

    Most do.
