At Least Twitter is Being Honest
Anyone that has worked in computers understands that upgrades, patches, etc never always go the way you expect. In fact most of the time they go FUBAR faster then you could ever imagine.
So since Twitter has been like a yo yo all day I was happy to see them update their message to the one above. I can respect that.
I miss keeping up to date with everyone and what they are doing, but I’ve been focusing my energy in other directions for the moment. Hopefully it comes back soon so that the insanity that happens around events such as a PodCamp isn’t missed.

I have to agree, nice message from Twitter. Now that it’s been down most of the day, I really realize how much I depend on it to feel / stay connected.
If I *pay* for a service, I am more apt to get PO’d if it’s down so much (cough…Second Life) but when it’s a free Web 2.0 app, I feel bad for the poor schmucks in the hamster cage running around in the wheels trying to get it going again.
