A Weekend Offline

Friday was my 11th wedding anniversary and Laura and I took the day off from work and I pretty much stayed off the computer the rest of the weekend. I’d check in to see if there was anything going insane and since there wasn’t I moved on from there. So much stuff, so little time […]

Apple Picking

Yesterday found us apple picking which is a yearly tradition for us here in New England.
Here the family takes a break for cider donuts and caramel apples.
What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

I Am Legend Comes to Second Life

It is late and I should be sleeping, but I just got an e-mail notifying me about the new first person shooter game coming into Second Life based on the upcoming Will Smith movie “I Am Legend.”
The game is called I Am Legend: Survival and the trailer looks SLICK!

Calisto Pro from Plantronics

I don’t have the time at the moment to write up a full review of this product, but I will say that after one day of use I am completely hooked.
This is the charging unit. It connects to the phone line AND to the computer. That’s right boys and girls. With the bluetooth headset I […]

Social Media as Verbs

I noticed that I’ve been using social media terms as verbs lately. What I mean is I’ve caught myself saying “yeah I spent the last couple of hours facebooking and digging.” I knew that Google bought our brain a long time ago and using it as a verb is commonplace now, but I guess I […]

Matthew Ebel Inspired Robot Song

I got a sneak preview of a new song tonight from Matthew Ebel that I think is going to be a big hit with the kids. He hadn’t thought about it, but I can totally see kids driving their parents nuts singing this over and over in mini vans across the country.
Dylan and Emily liked […]

Scott Sigler Wants to Kill YOU

Don’t let this mellowed out picture of Scott Sigler fool you. We were having breakfast in NYC and neither of us was quite awake yet. This man has issues and now he’s taken it a step further then I thought he would with his new announcement.
Scott and I have become good friends over the years […]

Cali Lewis & Geoff Smith Duet

This video gave me the biggest smile.

Cali Lewis and Geoff Smith are two people I’m very happy to call friends. Thanks to Dave Delaney (another new friend) for filming and posting this.

A Guy’s Gone With the Wind

So, the other book that I’m working on outreach for is Rhett Butler’s People. It is the story of Gone With the Wind, but told from the male lead’s perspective this time around. I’m not sure if I’ll read the whole book, since I don’t have time to read much of anything these days, but […]

New Dining Room Coming

Originally uploaded by CC Chapman.
I told Laura that she had to wait until after our house warming party to do anything on the house. So on Sunday she started going to work on the dining room.
As you can see the kids had a blast chipping in with peeling off the wallpaper and paint. Now we […]

Ronnie Wood Autobiography

I’m a sucker for pretty much any book on the music industry. Especially when it is filled with tales from the wild and crazy days of Rock N’ Roll.
So when St. Martin’s Press became a client of mine and they asked if I was interested in helping with their upcoming Ronnie: The Autobiography how could […]

House Warming, Brunch & Peeling Wallpaper

It was an intersting weekend. Actually felt longer then usual which is a nice thing.
Saturday we had a small house warming party. It was great to see a mix of friends. Very cool to meet some of the neighbors we hadn’t yet met as well. We were not ready for the summer weather in October, […]

My Keynote from Era of Conversation

As promised, here is a copy of the presentation I gave today. Very simple as I like to talk TO the presentation rather then with it. Yes, I worship at the presentation alter of Mitch Joel and happy to say so.

Keynote in DC

I’m writing this from a little hotel room at the Jurys Normandy Inn in Washington, DC. I’m here to give a keynote at the Era of Conversation event. It’ll be the first one I’ve done using Keynote. I’ve been a Powerpoint guy for years so this was quite a little shift, but since we wanted […]

Back from PME

I need to do a full blog post on my thoughts, but just no time today as I get caught up several days away from life.
This picture is of the forthcoming Accident Mash #4 that was recorded poolside at about 2 am at the Marriott. Completely spontaneous and featuring some amazing live, […]
