The Pittsburgh International Airport is a fine place to kill time -- as crazy as that sounds.

As perhaps you know, the original plan was for it to function both as a retail space (read: mall) and a travel junction. Prices are supposed to be the same there as at local retail establishments. And of course there's no tax on clothes in PA, so you can stock up on your American Eagle attire.

Of course, those plans were made when the place was built, which was before 9/11/2001, when you didn't have to have a boarding pass to get through security. But somehow the stores and restaurants have survived the change, and it's not a bad place to be.

I'm glad to hear it's treating you well.
