Working in Starbucks

As I sit here in New York City doing just that for the first time it hit me that these places are an awfully loud place to be productive, but there is a certain energy about having people around you that I have missed from only working at home.

I agree with the “loud place to be productive.”

What I do is find a Starbucks that is not within distance of tourists and other loud people.

I work at home but my mornings are spent at Starbucks… working remotely.

if it weren’t for coffee shops, barnes and noble and my in-laws’ neighbors’ unsecured wi-fi, i would often be up a creek in a chicken-wire canoe

there is something about the paradox of solitude in a public place that always sparks my creativity and productivity
